Background and aspirations for ASAHP
I have had the privilege of serving as a health professions dean for 3 different institutions over the last 15 years. During my three-decade plus career in higher education, I have witnessed incredible growth and maturity of the health professions. Advancements in clinical practice, research, and community engagement have enhanced the value of health professionals in modern society. I anticipate that health professionals will continue to be critical to enhancing lives. ASAHP’s focus on interprofessional education and practice aligns with my experience serving multiple health professions in my administrative roles. Service on the ASAHP Board of Directors would also align with my personal goals of improving human lives through education, research and practice. As a member of the Board of Directors, I would commit to sharing my experience and passion to continue the advancement of health professions.
