ASAHP joined over 60 organizations of the Health Professions and Nursing Education Coalition (HPNEC) in a letter to Senate appropriators calling for a $580 million allocation to Title VII health professions and Title VIII nursing education programs in FY 2018. The letter voices opposition to the $91 million in cuts to HRSA programs within the House bill.
