George Sigounas, M.S., Ph.D, became the new Administrator for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Dr. Sigounas was most recently a professor for 23 years at the East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine, an ASAHP institutional member, where he helped establish the Bone Marrow Transplantation Program.
