ASAHP joined members of the Federation of Associations of Schools of the Health Professions (FASHP) in a letter to the House Education and the Workforce Committee Chair Virginia Foxx and Ranking Member Bobby Scott ahead of the Committee's Tuesday markup of H.R. 4508, the Promoting Real Opportunity, Success and Prosperity through Education Reform (PROSPER) Act. The letter encourages the Committee to consider higher education policies that support and strengthen health professions education and the future health care workforce as negotiations on the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act progress.
