Few states have addressed the linkages between college affordability and student preparation, or the linkages between college affordability and student completion of certificate and degree programs. A new report by researchers from the Institute for Research on Higher Education at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College of Education and Human Development, and the Higher Education Policy Institute makes use of the most recent national data available from the National Center for Education Statistics that can be used to compare all states regarding the issue of college affordability.
